Bedford Springs, PA
An opportunity come up for a mini-break and one within our budget. We recently stayed at the Omni's Bedford Springs resort and it was the most relaxing holiday. The most difficult decision was deciding on where to sit on the premises because there were so many welcoming spots! The resort is made up of different buildings added on to an 1806 stone structure. Covered porches connect the buildings together. Each room opened on to these porches with a couple of rocking chairs. We sat out each night on the porch with a glass of chilled wine and watched the fireflies. Then there were more communal spaces including loungers on the first floor, bentwood chairs around a firepit, hammocks out on the lawn and of course loungers by both the indoor and outdoor pool. We definitely spent most of the time by the outdoor pool.
The staff were fantastic as well. It couldn't have been a nicer weekend away and not far from home in Toronto!
